Yes there are opportunities in the District of Columbia commonly known as DC. And yes you can find foreclosed property there that can be used to make money. This area is feeling the foreclosure pinch like the rest of the United States. However, most of the property is lower income areas and will be in need of substantial repairs before it could be sold.

What does that mean to you if you are looking onto purchasing property in the District of Columbia with an eye on making a profit once the market rebounds and the economy stabilizes?
